Privacy Policy
This site collects less than almost any commercial website you will visit, and this page states exactly what that means. Two things are recorded: standard web-server logs, and aggregate analytics through Google Analytics 4. Nothing else. Below you will find the operator and its jurisdiction, every category of data involved, what is deliberately not collected, the legal basis for each purpose, who else sees anything, how long records are kept, and how to exercise your rights. Effective from 5 August 2026. The subject matter here is sensitive, and minimising collection is a deliberate design decision rather than an oversight.
Who operates this site and what it is
This site is operated from the United Kingdom at the domain hushmassage.co.uk and is governed by the laws of England and Wales. It is an editorial and analytical resource about advertising platforms used to monetize explicit websites. It is not an advertising platform, not an ad network, not an ad server, and it hosts no explicit material.
Processing is carried out in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, and where readers are in the European Union, with Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Questions and rights requests go to [email protected], which reaches the person responsible directly.
What is recorded, category by category
Server logs. The hosting infrastructure records a standard web-server log line for each request. In practice that line contains the requesting IP address, the date and time to the second, the request method and path, the HTTP status code, the number of bytes served, the referring URL where the browser sends one, and the user-agent string identifying browser and operating system. This is the default behaviour of a web server rather than an analytics decision, and it supports security, abuse investigation and diagnosing broken pages.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4 records page views, session duration, approximate location at country and city level derived from IP address, device type, browser, operating system, screen size, referring source and which internal links were followed. Google receives your IP address to perform that derivation and, in Google Analytics 4, does not store it. The two cookies involved are named with their lifetimes in the cookie policy, which also explains how to refuse them.
Correspondence. If you write to any address on the contact page, the message and your email address are held for as long as the matter takes to resolve. Where a message produced a published correction, it is also kept as part of the record of that correction.
What is deliberately not recorded
There are no user accounts, no logins, no registration, no newsletter and no comment system, so there is nothing to sign up for and no profile to build. The site does not collect names, postal addresses, payment details, identity documents or any information about advertising accounts you hold elsewhere.
No advertising or retargeting technology runs here: no tag manager container, no Meta pixel, no heatmap tool, no session recording and no ad pixel of any kind. Analytics is used for aggregate reporting only. Google signals and advertising features that would allow audience building or remarketing are not enabled, no data is sold or shared with data brokers, and nothing is supplied to advertising networks for targeting. Given what this site is about, being able to state that precisely matters more than any measurement it would give up.
Purposes and legal bases
Security and availability, legitimate interests. Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): keeping the site online, identifying abusive request patterns and diagnosing faults. The interest is the continued operation of a public information resource, and the impact on readers is minimal because the data is not enriched, profiled or linked to anything else.
Answering correspondence, legitimate interests. Messages sent to the editorial, partnership or privacy addresses are processed under Article 6(1)(f) so they can be answered, and where a message reports an error, so the correction can be traced back to its source if the figure is later disputed.
Audience measurement, consent under Article 6(1)(a). Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, so processing carried out through Google Analytics 4 rests on consent. It can be refused or withdrawn at any time by blocking or clearing the two cookies, by browsing privately, or through Google's opt-out add-on; the mechanics are in the cookie policy. Refusing changes nothing about how the site works.
Legal obligations, Article 6(1)(c). Where retention or disclosure is required by law, that requirement governs.
No marketing communications are sent from this site, because there is nothing to subscribe to.
Who else is involved
The hosting provider processes server logs as a processor on the operator's instructions, in order to serve pages and keep the service available.
Google LLC processes analytics data as described above, under the Google Analytics terms and its own privacy policy, and the measurement library is served from googletagmanager.com. Retention for user-level analytics records is set to the shortest interval the platform allows. No advertising network receives anything from this site, and no other third party is involved.
Outbound sign-up buttons carry parameters in the link address identifying this domain as the referring source. Those parameters travel in the URL and describe the referral, not the reader; they carry no identifier for you and no information about your visit. Once you land on an advertising platform you are on their infrastructure under their privacy policy, and this site receives no data about any account you subsequently open, nor about anything you do there.
International transfers
Analytics data reaches Google LLC in the United States. That transfer relies on the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, on the standard contractual clauses incorporated into the Google Analytics terms. Where a hosting processor operates infrastructure outside the United Kingdom, server log transfers rely on the same instruments. Because the categories involved are log fields and aggregate behavioural measurement, and because neither is enriched or used for profiling, the exposure created by any such transfer is limited to what is listed above.
Retention
Server logs are retained for a limited operational period sufficient for security and diagnostics and are then deleted or rotated out by the hosting infrastructure. Analytics records are retained by Google for the shortest interval its property settings permit, after which user-level rows are deleted and only aggregate reporting survives. Correspondence is kept while the matter is live and, where it produced a published correction, for as long as that correction remains relevant to the accuracy record described in how we check figures. Nothing is retained for marketing purposes, because no marketing is carried out.
Your rights and how to use them
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you may request access to personal data held about you, request rectification or erasure, request restriction of processing, object to processing carried out under legitimate interests, and request portability where it applies. Requests go to [email protected] and are handled within the statutory period.
A practical note: for a reader who has never written to us, the records that exist are a server log line and an anonymous analytics identifier held in a cookie on your own device. Neither is indexed by person, and a request can only be located from an IP address and an approximate date range. Providing those makes a request actionable; without them there is nothing to search against. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. It does not knowingly collect data from children, and given that it collects no identifying data from anyone, there is no mechanism by which it could hold a child's personal data beyond a log line.
Changes
The pages this policy applies to are Adult Ad Networks and the supporting pages linked from the footer. The person accountable for their content is identified on the author page, the standards that content is written under are in the editorial policy, and the contractual terms for using the site are in the terms and conditions.
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it and the substance of the change is described in the text. If any further collection mechanism is introduced, this page and the cookie policy will be updated before it goes live, naming the tool, its purpose and its retention.
